I have been given the task of setting up a high school library for the school I teach at. It is a rather daunting task as I want to have all sorts of books - not just the books that I enjoyed.
This is why I am going to the universe of the internet to get your help.
What were your favorite books in high school?
What are books that I need to have in the library?
These books can be an genre (as long as they are appropriate) and from any culture.

Seriously? You're suddenly in charge of creating a library?! That sounds quite daunting. . . and how much time are they going to give you for this endeavor? And how did you acquire this new responsibility? As for the book suggestions, I'll think on it and get back to you. =)
I'm sure the librarian at my school would have some great advice for you...want me to send your request her way?
Thanks, Nicole, but I feel like I kind of have it under control. I only have enough money for a few more books anyway and just got the IB list of international authors.
My sister keeps asking me the same question.
