I think it's funny that every generation believes that they are on the cutting edge of progress until about sometime in their late twenties. Then cynicism sets in and that generation starts to hold the view that the world as a whole is going to hell in a handbasket and uses the next generation as a key example.
I should be careful - I'm bordering my late twenties!
